The proposal builds on the scale of Grünau’s modern urban composition. The existing large open spaces in the area have great potential for living and have been preserved. Another ample urban piazza has been designed as representative public space for the neighborhood, by keeping the new constructions on a narrow footprint. Therefore, the proposed densification process focuses on a density of living, working and leisure experiences and less on occupying the unbuilt space.
