The non-formal kindergarten was initiated by Casa Bună Association, an NGO that offers educational support to vulnerable children and families. The building is organised around two large spaces with different characters.
At ground level, a multipurpose room opens directly onto the orchard. It is conceived as one generous space that accommodates different activities. The intention was for it to feel like the salon of a palace. This space can be used as a canteen, workshop or event room.
Above, the large roof defines the main space for the children. With a single gesture, it creates both smaller and larger spaces beneath it. The interior becomes a playful landscape where children can move, explore and express themselves freely.
The other rooms have a more formal character and are arranged between these two main spaces.
